1. Be able to use monthly data as well as weekly and daily.

2. Introduce a DATE function that would let users call back to a specific date in filters rather than having to update "offset" or "days ago" functions every day.

3. Include commissions in backtest data - let users enter a commission cost in the backtest, perhaps as an advanced option.

4. Replace the "Annualized ROI" in the current backtest with the actual return over the given period (and have it include commissions if checked).

5. Allow indices to be used in filters.

6. Nightly email for watchlists, similar to what is currently done with filters.

Have a form of storing price points and then being able to compare them with today's price.

Being able to store indicator levels and compare with today's levels.

Being able to plot amount of "HITS" of a filter. a filter becomes an indicator. This would be the best option IMHO.

You could plot supply and demand of the total market...

1) WEEKLY OPEN PRICE THAT IS ACCURATE!!

2) ABILITY TO SPECIFY DAY OF THE WEEK. Example, "day is TUESDAY" So only Tuesday data is used in the filter.

I would like to have something similar as offered by Prodigio including sending orders directly when filter triggers them.

I doubt that SF can or will offer either real-time data or the ability to place orders. This is asking for a different program and service entirely.

Let's try to keep this thread to short-term realistic items, rather than a completely different "I want this to be IB or TOS" type of statements. SF is at its heart a stock-filter program, not a Broker or data service. Thanks.

Wish all you like, I guess, but when the SF home page still has a beta tester recruitment box with a 6/22/2010 date, I'm thinking SF is being run as is as a cash generator and there isn't much interest in investing in improvements. JMO.

Thank you for the great feature requests -- please keep them coming!

A couple questions and comments on the items mentioned so far:

1) Concerning the weekly open problems, can you provide more details concerning the errors you are seeing with weekly open? The weekly open used by StockFetcher is the open price from the first trading date of the week.

2) With respect to Canadian data (and other markets for that matter) we have supported other markets in the past, but due to lack of interest we were unable to justify continued support for those markets. We are considering bringing additional markets back, but would like to get a general feel for how much interest there is for new markets. As well as some thoughts on desired use; for example, would you want a mix of markets or primarily interested in a single market?

Please keep the ideas/suggestions coming!

Tom

2. Introduce a DATE function that would let users call back to a specific date in filters rather than having to update "offset" or "days ago" functions every day.
---------------------
I believe this is available.

Syntax:
date offset 10/20/2011
