May all my fills be complete with this fatboy now-so-slim. What's playing on your iPod?

Niko,

Interestingly I was doing some research on AAPL over the weekend. Here was what I came up with:

http://yepher.com/AAPL_Trend_Report.doc

I would be interested in agreements or disagreements on this...

Yepher,

Being a day/swing trader with a flair for quick profit, it's not my place to make assessment of that article. I don't know what the long-term outlook will be for AAPL; I can only speculate that it ain't looking pretty for the present. On the daily chart, AAPL has formed a head & shoulders pattern which it broke below 2 weeks ago. As of Friday, a pullback up to the neckline has been completed. Now, if I'm not mistaken, the damn stock is ripe to drop to the price target of $59 (in about 7-8 days).

On a side note, KMX is resting comfy right at the upper channel. It should retrace back down to the lower channel in due time.

Sorry for not being so helpful.

But then again, what I said in the past turned out to be unpalatable, hence take my word with a grain of salt.

On 2/5 Way2Late sez "Since DMA 28 can predict the future, why doesn't someone run a scan to see if any terrorists are going to bomb any pipelines or not?"

Yup, with DMA(28) I just knew those thugs would blow up the Niger pipeline. Shall we change that to DMA(18) next time? It was a bit slow in coming.

AAPL miraculously managed to close above the neckline today. Hence tomorrow will serve as a judgment day. On the other hand, if today's rally is just another repeat of 1/30, when it engulfed previous two days only to stumble and fall in the following days, then my initial wager still stands.

My beloved AAPL isn't making much headway. Still struggling near its neckline, I fear that the neck won't be there for long if it doesn't move north anytime soon. I shall keep my own head in the sand for now.
