Taking a look at some of the energy stocks (i.e., FSLR, RIMM) ....
this IS 1999 revisited.
Seven years ago, I'd buy at $200 stock in a heartbeat.
However, I don't feel comfortable doing that now.

Some people stated at the outset that there's an important difference between now and 1999, such as crazyass daily ranges that can move $50 or more. True enough, but the psychology behind the two eras of get-me-in-at-any-price is just as applicable now as it was back in 1999, especially with so many noobs (I don't mean this in any pejorative sense) here and elsewhere giving into hot tips from self-proclaimed gurus beaming their holygrail nonsense.

I know this is a stupid question but...geezus, was today's insane rally really justified? Is Walmart's yoy comp enough of a rationale for everyone to go gaga? Man, I'm beginning to get dizzy from this retro-1999 merry-go-round.

Getting there is one thing, being able to stay there is another. Let's see if it will close above 14,000. The stochastic, however, is registering a lower high on the 5-minute chart, so we might get a slight pullback in the meantime.
