it would be nice to find something as easy as seasonality to hold up and make money with. i used to use a spreadsheet from professors gummys website that would do a similar thing like the monthly seasonal posted by quilln does. so i tried to find a
dvd with excel on it to use gummys spreadsheet. it looks further back than the one posted here. well i found the files i made showing the best monthly seasonals back in 2005. first it's amazing how many of those stock symbols dont apply anymore, gone.
second preliminarily these seasonal patterns dont seem to hold up. ill go over more but i cant seem to find stocks that continue patterns from 2005 till now, none that is, i went over a few months and about 100 stocks. no real patterns at least monthly.

by the way , i didnt go over the stocks that did well in december(2005 and back) but ill bet that pattern is the only one to hold up-that is stocks doing well in december(2005 and back) continue to do well in december.

Pirate67,
the following were added after I left I-HUB
GEO$ = GEOMEAN a statistical
http://www.ehow.com/how_4431225_use-excels-geomean-function.html
I believe that CPI means Compound Principal Interest.
PR = that's new to me.
klynn55,
I use to stock pile as many spreadsheets as I can from http://www.gummy-stuff.org/ then my drives got fried. puff!
