Hi, I've been experimenting with SF and am perhaps ready (an admittedly naive assumption) to take the next step. Let's consider a simple filter, namely:

Buy:
momentum(21) has been increasing for 3 weeks
and volume is above 25000

Sell:
profit loss=1%
max days=1

Are there brokers or software that could implement the filter in an automated fashion(?) Could anyone briefly explain how long it would take and how complicated such a process is to a beginner using one of these platforms (e.g., tradestation). I have programing experience. Are the returns from the backtesting provided by SF an accurate assessment (to first order) if the aforementioned filter is automated via tradestation (or any analogous software)? Lastly, is anyone aware of a service where a broker or individual would automate a given SF filter given funds and a promise of a % of the returns?

Thanks.

Look into www.Amibroker.com

They can backtest and optimize your system. If I remembe correctly they also integrate with a broker or two.
