Hi all,
I'm new to SF, it looks like a great tool, but still trying to figure out how the stock screening syntax work. Is there a way to find out stocks whose IPO was after a certain time, something like:
find all stocks whose IPO was after Jan 1st 2007
Another question, how to find out stocks whose previous day close is at most 10% of historical highs?

I don't believe that is an indicator on SF ... you maybe able to code it ... maybe ... but not an easy task.

Speaking of ipo's anybody catch todays ipo AONE,what a rocket
4 others that opened today were flat ARI ART CLNY VITC but I'll watch,once they get action some can make nice swing holds.
Witness TRIT DGW 2 very recent ones that have made very nice swings
There's another 4 or 5 ready to ipo next week,can't wait

beiercai. Piece of cake. Look for stocks that had zero value at the close before the IPO date.

Thanks all for the info. I'll try $0 at Close on Jan 1st 2006,.
any idea how to find out stocks whose previous day close is at most 10% of historical highs? (basically I want to find out stocks whose price has dropped more than 90% from it's high)

I tried a filter "Close 200 days ago is below 0" and got no results. I would have expected to get all IPO's within the last 200 days.
Strangely, using "Close of 200 days ago is above 0" seems to exclude IPO's (I often use this if I'm using a 200MA filter and want to exclude stocks that haven't traded for 200 days).
