Is any currently using or has used TradersStudio? Their interface is intuitive as well as appealing, offering both backtesting and "walk-forward" testing (fwiw), among other things.

I've never tried TraderStudio but FWIW -

1. Genetic Optimizing is curve fitting and quite frankly, a frustrating waste of time. ALL INDICATORS ARE DERIVATIVE OF PRICE.
2. Backtesting is over-hyped as a tool for your ultimate success. The facts are that unless you really understand the indicators and the way they work you'll be spinning your wheels with optimizing and backtesting until you become disillusioned - much like the multitudes who came before did as well.
3. I would be petrified about bugs in a new platform that doesn't have a track record.
