Volume reported is the number of shares traded on that day with the ranking default being descending (highest volume to lowest). If you wanted volume ascending (lowest to highest) you can click on the volume column or change the default (SETTINGS - RESULTS). If you wanted the volume for another day you would generate a column for that, such as:

Thanks.
Actually, I asked this question because I was looking at my filter results for July 24th. It showed there were some 50 triggers for that day but as SF has a limit of 25 picks for one single day the backtest only picked 25 for July 24th which is fine.
The concern I had was why did it not pick according to volume descending? Some of the stocks backtest did not pick had volumes higher than the ones picked and also I checked those (not picked) would also have triggered as per my limit buy criteria if SF was picking per volume descending.
I think there is some issue with sF.

Volume Ascending is based on the daily volume for date of your filter. If possible, can you provide an example saved test, along with examples that you believe should have appeared in your "list" but did not?
Thank you,

Ok. I am still not sure what you mean when you say daily volume. Is it avg daily vol of some days (say 100 days) or just the day before my filter date or for the day of my filter?

Can you write a filter that says daily volume is ?% greater than average volume.
Is that possible?

Just adjust the multiplier in the user-defined function to whatever threshold you want.
