Why not simply use the VIX itself - as I have posted innumerable times of late.

God, I hope so.
Honestly think that they are going to grind sideways for a bit, then get back to near their previous levels (maybe by end of January).

I am trying to write a filter for momentum. How do I find stocks where the momentum has crossed above 1.00 in past 1, 2 or 3 days?
