In 1973 (the last fuel crisis), the DOW began dropping in Jan 1973 (100 Wks--46.59% before recovery) Up until now, the DOW has only dropped 18.05%. Back in 1973 it was fuel giving us the headache. Currently, there are a hosts of other problems in addition to high fuel costs...
Will history repeat?????

On the contrary, it's our stupidity that repeats itself. Wasn't it the same credit crunch that fanned the flame of the Great Depression? And wasn't it the oil crisis, which led to a runaway inflation, that eventually gave rise to Volker and the gang to bring us the unforgettable recession of the early '80s? Haven't we learned anything?

Welcome to Walid Street. They ship us oil, we send them dollars, they buy US companies with those dollars, what next? When soverign dollars completely own Wall Street, don't be surprised if they actually change the name to one of a pseudo-capitalist like Prince Walid.

Another bit of HISTORY HERE:
Exxon tumbled -46,86%.. beginning in April 1973 (year of the fuel crisis)...
The DOW started its tumble in January 1973... EXXON followed (4) months later....
I am banking on history repeating itself... And the OIL THIEVES don't want to kill the GOOSE, they just want to ROB IT!!!!! And I think they have bled it enough....
I bought DUG this AM... Of course, set stops too... DUG Weekly Chart looks like it is entering a 3rd or C Elliot Wave....
