THERUMPLEDONE SUSPENSION TO BE LIFTED
In summary:
1) I will not post any code on eSignal's forum
2) I will not post any links on eSignal's forum
3) I will not mention TRO STUDIES on eSignal's forum
4) I will only post questions on the eSignal forum
5) If anyone on the eSignal forum asks me about where they can get the TRO STUDIES, I will either ignore the post or say "NO COMMENT".
I will do my best to not do ANYTHING that can be construed as DIRECTING TRAFFIC AWAY FROM ESIGNAL'S FORUM.
I will NOT help other users by answering question on the eSignal forum.
In other words, the eSignal forum will be pretty much the way it was before I started posting there.
But this matter is really bizarre when you look at the string of events...
1) I check the forum rules to make sure "gifts and donations accepted" is NOT in violation and begin posting.
2) I am told to remove the "gifts and donations accepted" line.
3) I remove the line and post my code elsewhere.
4) I am told that I can't post the link to my code.
5) I quit posting the link to my code.
6) I am told that because I post screenshots that I am directing people away from the eSignal forum because when they ask me where they can get the code and I say "PM or email me".
Meanwhile, others post links to their sites where people can pay for code but that's ok because they are business partners.
It is NOT ok for me to tell people where they can get my code for free.
It is ok to have a price tag on the outside but it's not ok to have "gifts and donations accepted" on the inside.
BIZARRE, TOTALLY BIZARRE!

TRO is a GREAT PERSON and we should be very happy to have him here!
Thanks Tro!
As for e-signal: I thought about switching to their service but now I will definitely not. From e-signal you can learn a great lesson: How to lose and drive away customers.

Hang in there Avery, you've "paid it forward". Glad I didn't open an account with e-signal. Still shaking my head at TS. What a racket.
Back to the research.

Problem is that those companies have products that I have invested HUNDREDS OF HOURS OF MY TIME DEVELOPING INDICATORS AND STUDIES FOR.
It's not easy to leave that behind.
See all it takes is ONE BUTTHEAD to make your life miserable.
Just one.
That's all.
It's all about EGO and protecting one's turf.
And many a company has been ruined because of ego at the top.
I code and trade.
They can't focus on the fact that I add to their bottomline.
They get caught up on something a petty as a forum.
They don't believe in FREE SPEECH and hide their actions behind the veil of PRIVACY. It's all SPIN!! I prefer making things public and they cringe. WHAT ARE THEY HIDING? WHAT DON'T THEY WANT YOU TO KNOW OR SEE?
I wonder why they fear THERUMPLEDONE?

I Fear Them! This saleswoman from Tradestation keeps calling and sending packets and CDs to get me on their subsription payroll and I'm sure E-signal isn't far behind and now a fellow Stockfetchian gets mistreated at these very sites?Ferrrrr-gettit. Rumple, what would it take to create your own program?Knew someone who did this once and he calls it X DEV via Stockwerld,I don't follow it any more,he charges now,but is just an example. There are only two directions a stock can move #1-up #2-down,any association to price beyond that will be fee-based ah-ha LOL.

TRO,
sorry to hear the mess with TS and ES.
You understand their software 10 times better then their average consultant, I guess you put too much water in the pool and some of them can not swim...
They should learn it instead of througing you out of the pool...

=============================================================================
Alf, I was on the phone with eSignal's VP of Client Services and Scott told me he was afraid of what I might do over the weekend and that's the reason he suspended me. I AM NOT JOKING!
They think I am trying to lure people to www.kreslik.com to build up the traffic there. But I pointed out that he can google "therumpledone" and all he will find is free code everywhere I post.
They are suspicious. Why would I do that? What's my "hidden agenda"? Am I going to try to steal his customer base? And on, and on...
It's just to me, anyone selling trading code is crazy if their code is any good.
So much easier just to use the code and trade than it is to set up a company, a website, market, advertise, support, train, process orders, etc... just to make $50, $500 or $5,000 on a sale!
All I have to do is trade 10 - 100 minilots of the EURUSD and I can make that in a trade or 2 in a few minutes. Or I can buy 1000 shares of AAPL at the open and clear $100 or so in minutes. Why would I want the hassle of selling code?
I just give the code away. I can afford to.
But the corporate weenie mindset has "tunnel vision" and is "near-sighted".
Funny thing, Jerry Medved of QuoteTracker gives his code away too. You can use it for free. I pay the registration fee every year as a show of support.
