Use the dayranger scan with ADR(10) set and then add a column for ADR(30). Then just tweak the ADR(10) to compare the two.

You look at DIN from yesterday..it shows ADR30 of 19.6 and ADR10 of 26.75,this is HUGE...combined with the huge volume increase from 432k on Friday to over 1.6 mil Monday it shows me it's a "hot" stock,a play on green...sorry if I'm so anal with this but this is how I made a ton in the last 8 months, stuff others ignore....I sweat the details...not satisfied with the same old same old "cows" for a few %...they are most likely always there...I know those...give me the freshness

Thanks 13th floor. This is something I struggle with as a trader... PLaying the "hot movers" vs letting them "cool down" and form solid formations on daily/longer term charts, looking for a play a few days later....

I feel playing them as they are moving or right after (to me) seems like chasing ghosts... I guess perhaps the best idea is to continuously run the scans daily and create a composite list over time, and then "eyeball" setups and S/R, etc...

any advice? I am just trying to get input/ideas from others....
