Is there any to work stockfetcher in reverse. Put in the stock and have it tell the one most profitable indicator for that stock?

OK. Is there any way to have it tell the most profitable MA crossover for a given stock?

Again, no. You can try different settings during backtesting, but not have backtesting do an optimization for you.

Their software is pretty cool - I used it to optimize several indicator strategies (Bollinger bands, MACD, MA crossovers). It might take you a few days to get the right code written, but their support team (notably Chad) is incredibly fast and responsive to requests for assistance. They even made changes in their 10.2 beta that were a result of my request for additional user variable in certain indicators - less than an hour after I made the request. Amazing.
