Good insights about the odd lot trading. I actually round up or down to the nearest 100 shares for my trade size. Just in case you have not used the Equity Summary in the Backtesting. It allows you to look at the potential returns based on trade size for your strategy. I have done testing and based on my risk level found that 13 works best for the risk and returns. It is interesting when you change this in the backtest and see the profit results for the $100K initial equity. This is done in the Advanced Tab. In most cases adding more positions allows for more trades but actually decreases the equity at the end of the test period.
