How & why do stocks fall off and on filters? 1 day you will go back to date & stock has fallen off chart to sometimes come back again later. Seems odd.
So if stock falls in & out of marketcap range it drops? Does this occur for volume criteria too?

If you check intraday it may meet the filters criteria at that moment but then may not at the close and thus no longer show up.

No. It may have met criteria lets say a month ago and then when i go back it's gone. Is this a glitch or is this normal and if so it skews everything.

Post a filter showing what you are talking about.

Depending on what you are tracking, it could simply be that the data has been adjusted based on final values (volume, splits, etc) and no longer meet the criteria.

So Kevin, are you saying that stocks might fall off & come back if it falls under volume or marketcap criteria? And if so what can you type to keep this from happening.

Not exactly - my comments are really directed at how key data might be revised after initially being used. Typcial examples would be adjusting for splits (if your filter requires that a stock trade over $5, and the stock subsequently splits 2 for 1 its historical values would be adjusted to a new value below $5 when re-running your filter after the split).
