I remembered that a poster named Mika made a Hammer screen a few years back and found it using SF search engine. Hope this helps.

You can also go here: http://yepher.com/stockfetcher/command.html and type hammer in the search box.

thanks for the help guys. but for my learning sake, what is wrong with my syntax "open is below the close one day ago"

i tried that filter by itself and it didnt always return stocks that had opens less than closes

Hi,

When you have a chance, post your screen that is producing stocks where open is not below the prior day's close.

For example, in the following screen, all stocks should have a negative diff:

Fetcher[
set{diff, open - close 1 day ago}
open is below the close one day ago
and add column open {o_today}
and add column close 1 day ago {c_yesterday}
and add column diff
]

Thanks!

Fetcher[set{lowopendiff, open - low}
set{closeopendiff, close - open}
set{highclosediff, high - close}
set{diff, open - close one day ago}
open is below the close one day ago and
close is above open and
highclosediff is less than closeopendiff and
lowopendiff is more than 50% above closeopendiff
and add column open {o_today}
and add column close 1 day ago {c_yesterday}
and add column diff
]

the "open is below the close one day ago" does not seem to work
