Yahoo! Finance reports "Stocks Rise After Buffett Offer... to help out troubled bond insurers." Since when did Buffett had the same clout as the Fed posse or his stoozes? Oh, yeah, I remember a few months ago when the market popped on the rumor that Buffett will come to the rescue of then troubled CFC. The rally eventually fizzled and the market tanked anyway. Uhh, I think I wanna throw up.

I could end up eating crow tomorrow. I just finished placing my Thurs. buys, I have meetings midmorning. It's you guys responsibility to make sure the market doesn't tank...lol.

I think you just might, JP. After 3 days of advances, tomorrow should be a sell-short day anyway although I wouldn't yet bet that the trend has changed. This might be just another pullback that would give the big boys their usual bargain.
