If it goes into major corrective mode (not 100% sure it will but there's a lot of evidence and opinion that it could), I would see 10,000 (the 61.8% Fib retracement from the July 09 low) to 9,900 (the full retracement of the Feb 8th low) as the low target before the Powers That Be rally it back to above where we are today.
Hopefully not any lower than this.

On Apr 26th over 42K of the SPY May119 puts were bought. Best I can tell less than 5K of those came back today.
Shorts where strong in many bellweathers with little cover even with the weaker VIX.
Just MHO, I think tomorrow will run + 30 to 45 DOW, 3 to 4 S&P til about the midday lull, and then we retest the 50 DMA

As of today: May 5
My technicals are showing strength now just below the 50DMA. There is still weakness in the options pits. There may be one more corrective day later this weak but I think the worst is over for the short term. Reversal to upside should come tomorrow.

Who bought some puts yesterday?
