I am trying to create a scan that will find stocks in an increasing 45 day channel that have an open AND close below the lower boundary. Apperently the SF canned scan is not capable of being modified. Any suggestions from the resident scan guru's????

If you use a linear regression channel instead, I think it can be done:

Down stocks:

Fetcher[

show stocks where the open is above the top linear regression line(45,1)
and close is below the bottom linear regression line(45,1)
]

at 1 SD, no stocks are returned, but at 0.5 SD 11 are returned.

Up stocks:

Fetcher[

show stocks where the close is above the top linear regression line(45,1)
and the open is below the bottom linear regression line(45,1)
]

at 1 SD, no stocks are returned, but at 0.5 SD 16 are returned.

Kevin
