I am taking an options course at the university and the instructor said that he uses Money Flow Jumps as indicator for his own trading .
Can anyone help on how to create such a filter . that detects jumps in money flow for stocks above $25 with volume over 300,000
Thanks!!!

Ask the instructor where he finds these money flow jumps?

Try here:

This is not a recommendation, just something I found on the net.
The concept sounds interesting. I hope you post more about it.

chadik12000,
I looked at the Money Flow indicator and believe it would be good for trading options. I wonder which options strategy your instructor is suggesting....buying call, selling puts, credit spreads etc?
Any information you have would be appreciated.

Bill,
I use a CMF(3) on an COG(5) vs EMA(5) for daytrading some call options with a stockfinder filter. I have not written one for here as I have almost exclusively turned to RT data. You may find those indicators helpful best used on equities trading 3K contracts and up per day.
