I use TRO's WARM, filter on a screen. The filter normalizes the Williams%R(10) indicator (not sure what that means exactly, but I believe it is to make sure the indicator displays within a 1-100 range).
lets say visually the stock chart I am looking at has the Williams%R(10)sitting above 95 on the scale. I just noticed that on a watchlist I use that adds the Williamd%R(10) column, the numeric value does not match that of the chart indicator.
This is probably a result of the 'normalized' function, and I could probably make both indicators have the same value by de-normalizing the WARM filter (syntax modification), but I am concerned it may detract from the overall value of the WARM filter -which I most certainly do not want to do.
The reason this I bring this up is that I would like to reduce my daily chart-reading window by having Excel do much of the work for me. I need to ensure that the calculations on the values in the cells (downloaded from watchlist page) are accurate.
