The wife and I did some wine testing in Santa Barbara,CA. last weekend and ran into Lead singer Vince Neil of Motley Crue. He was promoting his new product line and If I remember correctly, it's called "Vince Vineyards."
Anyway, while I'm sipping his wine we got to talking stocks, and after trying to impress each other for about a half hour, he tells me that Mick Mars (lead guitarist) builds filters at some site called stockfetcher.com lol....
I said "stockfetcher.com?" "Never heard of it." while my wife is squeezing my hand and I'm holding back a crooked smile! It seems Mick Mars is quite active here at SF and is some computer genius of sorts.
Anyway, after exchanging cards and hand shakes, Vince tells me I should "visit stockfetcher.com and put a shout out to Mick!"
So here it goes....HEY MICK, IT'S RIGGS! YEAH YOU KNOW THE MIGHTY RIGGS! Why did you change the song "come on and dance" when you went from Leathur Records to Electra? Anyway, congrats on your success and tell Vince I think his wine sucked! Just kidding bro. lol....

Just realized I just opened Pandora's Box, and now about 20 guys are now going to pretend to be Mick Mars! lol...Watch, Mick Mars is probably really "alffie44." Wouldn't that be a hoot! But thinking back, Vince Neil told me that Mick ACTUALLY BUILDS filters! So it can't be "alffie." lol....
Will the REAL Mick Mars please stand up?

RIGGS,
I'm not Mick Mars, but I do live in Santa Barbara.
Next time you're in town let me know and I'll buy you lunch/dinner.

You're on brother! Hey check out Vince's wine, it's pretty incredible! He told me that Vince's Vinyards is tearing up the Vegas Casino's, so it must be doing well in Santa Barbara too. Let me know b/c I'm thinking about a modest investment in his company. Hey, what's U.C.S.B campus looking like these days? Could only imagine....

RIGGS,
Here's the filter you're looking for:
set{vince, count(2 day slope of DMA(28,-14) above 0, 1)}
set{vineyards, count(RSI(2) below 1, 1)}
set{invest, vince + vineyards}
show stocks where invest equal 2
Santa Barbara is gaining notoriety for wine as time progresses. I'm amazed how many vineyards are here as compared to even 5 or 10 years ago.
UCSB continues to build new buildings and of course Isla Vista is still wildly subdued with pairs of tennis shoes hanging from the power lines.........

Funny you should ask....Vince never once talked about Sixx. Almost deliberately I think. Something told me there was some unlying bad blood there. BTW, this guy(Vince)has more tats than anyone I have ever met! But his newest is a V.V. for his beloved Vince Vineyards.

Motley Crue is noted on page 26.
Here's the clip:
Hammer Time
What's the story behind the NYSE's famous gavel?
Of the two daily rituals at the New York Stock Exchange, the opening bell has always packed more festive panache than the closing
bell. Celebs who have flocked to 11 Wall Street recently to open trading include Sarah Jessica Parker, Jimmy Page, Jesse Jackson
and SpongeBob SquarePants -- a comprehensive (if somewhat bizarre) cross-section of contemporary popular culture.
By contrast, the closing bell seems presided over mostly by a dull parade of anonymous CEOs, mid-level dignitaries from tinpot
countries -- and, last March, the four erudite sophisticates known as Motley Crue. Yet one thing the closing offers is the NYSE's
iconic gavel, which bangs down once the bell has formally ended trading.
Why a gavel? A spokesman at the exchange refuses to disclose any specifics other than the elliptical news that today's are
manufactured somewhere "in upstate New York." This much we know: Gavels were first used at the NYSE in the late 1800s, when
the exchange's president lorded over the twice-a-day "call market" -- and perhaps cracked skulls to keep unruly traders in line --
with the authority of his little mallet.
Indeed, the gavel has long been a totem of law and order.
In the Middle Ages, land was sometimes granted to men based on how far they could fling one, and in the 1400s, the Freemasons
decreed that "lewd women" were to stay as far from their gatherings as a gavel could be hurled. These days, once the hammer
comes down, all floor trading is halted -- and if the celeb on hand is lucky, the NYSE lets him take a gavel home as a souvenir. No
word on what Motley Crue subsequently used theirs for, however. Which, come to think of it, is probably for the best.
