Did anyone see this coming? In hindsight were there any signs?

moqual, There were indications that LDK was moving higher but since the stock has such a short history the longer term charts were not of much help. So most of it is limited to EoD charts.

The most important indications that are there are a low volume sell off followed by a break of pattern TLR two sessions back on 11/30 along with a stochastic +Xover = buy signal.
Also there was an increase in buying volume the past couple days to top it off.
Today there was a break of immediate resistance at the 15 DMA just after the open .

TRO,

On your stat scan I use,
LDK ranked 12th for ALL stocks that closed between $20 and $40 at yesterdays close.
SOLF ranked 7th in the same category. Up 27% also.

I had all the top 20 loaded and waited for green with volume.
Too simple as you'd say.

Well 13th, it looks like you haven't been reading the other threads where some people are WAITING for this method to be proven.

I guess you're just interested in growing your account....LOL!!

13th, you said "had all the top 20 loaded and waited for green with volume."...

What tool do you use for this?

Thanks

It was predicted by the News. They got funding on a polysilicon Plant and solars rallied on the possibility subsidies will be added to the energy bill.

Out of the last 100 days LDK:

Ran up over 1% 77 times
Ran up over 2% 63 times
Ran up over 3% 49 times
Ran up over 4% 40 times
Ran up over 5% 28 times
Ran up over 10% 8 times

Does this make it clearer?

I think he was asking basically did you take all of the stocks in the TRO Stat Scan and then filtering them with another filter? Unless you mean the only parameter you entered the close between $20 and $40 to the same filter and sorted on the 1-5% column.
