Don't get caught holding the short end of the stick. This market is on its way to the August low. Fat Santa ain't throwing a party this year from what I hear. Now who said that we'll rally until the end of the year?

nikoschopen, I don't hold losing positions. I get in and out quickly.
I suspect markets will attempt a bounce, probably tomorrow. Daily and Hourly Chart getting severely oversold.

COMP & DJI have lost all decent Daily Chart MA support so they bounced up off of the 50 WK.MA today while in an extremely (COMP particularly)oversold condition on Daily and Hourly Charts.
DJI and SPX both looking rather bearish, held back by their 25 DMAs as resistance today.
COMP didn't get even that far but todays Williams%R indicator is looking like we get a bit more upside at some point tomorrow. Possibly a gap up.
In order for the COMP to break the 50 DMA I suspect it would have to gap to or above the 25 DMA at 2640, which doesn't seem likely.

Caution is in order, IMO, as many of ther stocks I was following today were all held back by their 25 HR.MA's.
However, for some, that was the only thing standing between them and their recent highs.
Like ENER, ESLR.
If their 25 HR.MAs are confirmed as support they are gonna fly.

COMP held back by it's 25 HR.MA but just barely. Closed dead on it at the end of the session.
5 Minute Chart showing the avalanche point of a double top pattern being tested as resistance.
Its so close though I would have to call it unresolved at this point.

Interesting development this morning. COMP didn't gap up above its 25 DMA but it did gap to just below it. A sucker play for uninitiated buyers.
PSEM tested resistance this morning at its 50 HR.MA in an overbought condition. If it closes the Hour substantially below $17.18 then it will be a decent short play, IMO.
Took an initial short position at $17.22.

Watching to see if the COMP will bounce up off of its 10 HR.MA at 2603 or the 15 HR.MA at 2595 later in the session. That would make it possible to finally get a buy signal on the COMP Daily Chart and begin a new accumulation phase.
A close above 2650 at EoW would be bullish.

Covered PSEM $17.29 for (-$0.07) as it looks like the COMP is going to bounce up off of its 10 HR.MA. and PSEM consolidation pattern and volume have become bullish.
