Newbie here..
I subscribe to the IBD eTables which are updated weekly. My thoughts are to run these 200 symbols every week against the following simple filter just to catch a volume and price pop on the best fundamental names.
close more than 2 percent above close 1 day ago
and volume > 100000
and volume > volume 1 day ago
Question is how to I apply this filter to only these 200 symbols? I have made a watchlist but this filter keeps returning 260 other stocks.

In the watch list you can set what filters to run.. the results are in the watchlist.

I used HELP to figure this out. The watchlist matches are highlighted in the results list.
FWIW, the only stocks in the IBD etables watchlist with this filter returned:
HSTM, QCOR, FICO, PZZA
So I will revise my question to - any thoughts on this approach?
I won't be trading these unless I see a bull market in the NAS and SPY which according to my own trading rules would be:
trading over the 50 day EMA
AND
Positive EMA (8) and EMA (21) crossover
Both are currently trading above the 50 day but both just hit a negative crossover.

Its easier IMHO to import the IBD 200 to a WATCH LIST... look next to the forums tab.. see WATCH LIST.. only pain is it needs to be a comma delineated file CVS.. it can be exported out of excel but it will take some manual work.. I have done this many times.
I have not downloaded the top 100 in a while.
Create the IBD 200.. then inside the watch list tab you can add filters.. so you can run ten filters on that watch list.. an X will show what filters have a hit..
Its a pretty cool function...
So you can add a volume scan... an RSI divergence scan, near or above moving averages, over sold and over bought, and your 2% scan..
This way you don't build a filter that needs everything to happen.. you can see what is happening...
It will then show with columns of x under the filter number what symbols have hits.
