I have been trying to get this to work but cannot seem to get the syntax correct
plotting the results of ma(5)-ma(30) in histogram
and having it find stocks were the result of ma(5)- ma(30) is near zero or crossed from below zero.
any assistance in getting this coded correctly would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your quick response I could do that on the price chart. I was looking for ma(5)minus ma(30)to be plotted as a histogram below the price chart.

Go to my filters,settings,charts and go to MA(10), change to MA(5) minus MA(30)
this will work, I think thats what you are looking for (Thats for Chart settings)
Modified: show stocks where MA(5)minus MA(30)is below 1 {Is for that filter}

Woods,
In hindsight, I suppose it could have been seen as rude. In that case, allow me to rephrase my question: do you know what "histogram" is? The poster has specifically asked for a histogram, and yet you responded twice only to offer suggestions that is irrelevant to his question. Hence, my indirect criticism of your reply is that you shouldn't offer oranges when apples were asked for in the first place.
