Another is that it is easier to use the trade station, and trade station charges a platform fee if you trade less the 5000 shares per month and is lock into them as a broker
Not that trade station is not any good, it is, just two different tools for different needs
For the average person who wants to easily Automate their trading without being a programmer and have multiple broker options Cool-Trade is the way to go in my opinion

I had used OmniTrader years ago before SF to find good candidates. They recently sent me their new "OmniTrader Pro" brochure and it had something so compelling I had to order it. It is called Trade Plans and it allows you to automate your trading exactly like you want to do. Just pull down a Chevron on the chart and place it at the price you want to buy or sell. It will then set up profit/sell stops based on your criteria along with trailing stops (as an option) if you want to say sell half your position. It is all automated once you have your initial plan created. The posibilities are endless as if you can write it down on paper it can be done. I have yet to get it up and running as I just got back from a vacation but am very excited about the time it will save and profits it will hopefully bring. The Trade Plans currently integrates only with Interactive Brokers and MB Trading but they will probably add more brokers soon. They recommended them as they tend to be the cheapest with great executions. I currently use Interactive Brokers so this was not an issue for me. I will provide a follow up in a week or so on how it goes!
