Sorry, but I don't see a way to code it. And, without code, I can't backtest. With all due respect, a series of observations gives too few data points to be meaningful. Also, it would be good to have a logical premise underlying any filter.

I guess what i meant was a way to backtest it. But from manually backtesting it on wider divergences, it plays out 100%.
But on smaller divergences there are some days it does not. But will ultimately swing back to that point.
Today i called a dip then a buy. Monday both FAS & JPNL will both be up 1% or more from this point.
But this is not an ultimate Divergence play. Smaller plays still being tested.
Have you seen what i meant by the wider spread days?

I'm guessing DMUNCASTER's reply was known in advance !

Yay Fas was up 1%. 3-1 on my calls. You cannot trade JPNL.

Were you not down 2.5% or so on your last FAS call, you should still be underwater.

So today was another win making that 3-1
Tomorrow is not an A play but just for kicks we will go long FAZ for 1% or more.
Again this is by the skin of my teeth.

I'm down half a point with no stop & even assuming a 2% stop.
These like to pop at open above your 1% so you will gain big on gaps.
But again i am demonstrating all setups not necessarily the best setups.

Well you get the idea that it's a winning system.
This is as close as anyone will get to predicting the market.
Unless anyone needs more proof i am done for now.
