Before a trade is made and money and ego are put at risk, we are creatures of intellect and not emotion.

Hence, the best time to decide the buy-in price, the stop loss, and the profit sell price is before a trade is made. The markets destroy emotion. Making decisions in advance, one removes emotion from the trade.
