They give out free stock picks and make money?
So it's just a pyramid scheme or am i missing something.

Here's a "bedtime story" for your kids ...
Mr. Ponzi and his partner, Mr. Banks, run the biggest pyramid scheme in the world, the US Stock market.
Their "new" subsidiary ("credit default swap scam") starts to implode in 2007.
Mr. Ponzi asks the gov't for a bailout, otherwise the US economy might start looking like ... uh ... Greece! for example.
(would that be economou?)
Mr. Ponzi promises to repay the gov't with interest very quickly ... uh, let's say, within one year.
Soooooo ...,
The gov't complies and gives Mr. Ponzi billions to infuse into his "business" .. the US Stock market.
As the US Stock market goes up, complements of the US gov't subsidy, fondly known as "TARP" (a.k.a. welfare) ... everybody and his mother jumps in for the "free profits".
Nobody cares that it's a pyramid scheme, 'cause they're all "planning" to take their profits before everyone else.
But, not before Mr. Ponzi himself, who must pay back the gov't. first.
And when it's PAYBACK TIME .....
LOOK OUT BELOW!!
Remember children, ... all pyramid schemes work the same way.
Someone will always be left holding the bag. Thus, the term, "bagholder".
And, thus, the term, "the little guy".
