as214: does your friend (or you) buy leaps or shorter term options, and are they in, at or out of the money?

Pocane,
I'll ask. Don't know much about options but I know his avg holding period is anywhere from a week, to a few months.

Rhame,
That's true, if a company ceases to exist then it is gone from the VV database. It is a non issue in regards to backtesting and spotting favorable trends or imminent, emerging trends in particular industries. I am really pleased with the VV product, outside of the buy, sell, and hold ratings.

as214,
I'm up 6% so far. VV says its undervalued in a sector that hasn't gotten hot yet, but is obviously just turning the corner.
SSL digested 2005-2006 run up, by consolidating all year 2006-2007. This year it can run again.

From Vector Vest, NTRI is another cheap stock that has a weak RT . Other than that, everything is great.

Congratulations on your earnings guys, I'm proud of you. Good job on SSl limestar. Hope you guys used VV it to get in on NTRI as well. I'm looking at QI now. I have allocated resources as such to buy 30,000 shares! If it falls below 14 I'm buying!

as214 You stated 'Simply take the stock(s) that have been beaten down the most of these. Continue the process over and over again. Simple and easy.' in your initial post.
How are you defining a stock that is beaten down based on the MSN Power Search? P/E Ratio? Price/Sales ratio?
Thanks.
