I'm new to StockFetcher and not sure of all the ways I can use it.
If I create a filter I can click and have it post the results on practically all stocks traded. However, is there a way to apply the filter to only a group of stocks I have designated. In other words, if I have only 20 stocks I'm interested in, can I direct the filter to apply only to those? Is there a way StockFetcher can do this for me? If so, how?
Thanks for any help.

Use the "symlist" phrase in your code. Let's say you're just interested in microsoft and apple. You simply enter the desired symbols within the parentheses as follows:
apply to symlist(msft,aapl)

Is there a way to filter stocks based on sectors? Many of the energy stocks are not working, and I would like to do some backtesting excluding energy stocks.
Thanks
