When the following filter is run for Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 277 matches are returned by StockFetcher:
"kst weekly ema crossed below -0.0001
and close above 1
and average volume above 25000
and date offset 01"
The first five matches are AAUK, ABFS, ABV, ACET, and ACF.
When a daily display for the above five matches is done on StockFetcher, none of them have "kst weekly ema crossing below -0.0001" on October 15, 2008.
Can you please help ? What am I missing, or should I change, or is there an issue in StockFetcher ?
Thanks
Ed Acly

thanks
when "10/15/08" is substituted for "01" (or "02" now), the filter returns the same 277 matches which leaves me with the same question: why "kst weekly ema" is not crossing below -0.0001 on 10/15/08 for the matches returned ?
it is true that the "performance" performance field on the matches would seem to indicate that the matches are from a date other than 10/15/08, but I do not see where the discrepency is coming from
my understanding is that "kst weekly ema" is a daily indicator even though its name has "weekly" in it, i.e. you will find it in the indicator list/forum along with all the other daily indicators
and when the original filter is run for a more historical date (6/2/08 with date offset 97 for example), the matches seem to be correctly "crossing below -0.0001" on 6/2/08

have not heard a peep back from stockfetcher support on this one
still cannot get this filter to work
its very strange because the filter does not work for current data
however when it is back tested for historical data, say a month or more back, it seems to work
which might lead one to believe there is a problem with "date offset"
are you there stockfetcher support ?
can you help ?

OK
Sorry for the double post.
I suspect your response did go into the spam folder, and I missed it there.
