Dear **** ***** Customer,
We are writing to advise you that per FINRA rules, effective 1 December 2009, long and short leveraged ETFs will have an increased Minimum Maintenance Requirement as noted in the table below.
Long leveraged ETFs (2x) 50% requirement
Long leveraged ETFs (3x) 75% requirement
Short leveraged ETFs (2x) 60% requirement
Short leveraged ETFs (3x) 90% requirement
Please be advised that if you are holding any leveraged ETFs, you may now have a higher maintenance requirement.

Well, options volumes will probably increase .... you can always buy puts or calls

Also, look on your STATEMENTS.
SEC is charging an xtra "miscellaneous fee" on sell orders.

Ya' know .. they've got a lot of nerve.
They TAKE a % of your profits, then they tax on them.
I wonder if that "miscellaneous fee" is deductable?

Consider ULFLC as an option play for tomorrow (the DEC 55.00 calls on UGL). Just a thought.
