I understand the Open (Up day) candlestick and Red (Down day) candlestick, but what is a Black candlestick? In all other software, I only see two choices -- not three. Would someone care to comment about SF's 3 color choices? Thanks.

Hi,
From the help pages (clicking on the "Help" link in the upper right corner.) Also, you might be able to find other answers in the StockFetcher User Guide.
-------
What do the different colors of the candlestick charts indicate?
Below is the coloring and shading scheme
used for the candlestick charts on StockFetcher:
Red/Black:
Red - Close is below close 1 day ago
Black - Close is above close 1 day ago
Filled/Unfilled:
Filled - Close is below open
Unfilled - Close is above open
For example, if the close was above the close 1 day ago, but the close
was below the open, then the candlestick would be a filled black
candle.
