At the lower end of your price range ($1.30), I'll throw in BWLRF. It is about 3 weeks past the DMI crossover, but is showing a lot of momentum, and might have a long way to go yet (upward).

I would like to start a new thread for those who would like buy and hold stocks for a few week or so and show a modest RIO. You know the average Joe like me that works 9-5 and can’t check his stocks everyday. Type of stocks we would be targeting is like FNSR, CIEN, JDSU, Q, LTBG and MCU and so on. I believe in the old school of investing. (Buy a cheap stock that has been moving upward for some time and then ride it until upward tread stops). I’ve had a great deal of luck with this method. I would like to keep our price range within a $1 to $10 range.
Stock I think will move up soon is ILI…. RS (15) increasing for last few days and still below 60, +DI (14) crossed above –DI (14) and ADX (14) below 15-20, and Bollinger width (20) is closing up. Stock should be ready to continue its upward movement. Price setting at 7.50 now, well off 52 week high. Anybody else have anything?

If I were to buy a basket of outperformers, kick out the loosers every month to add more outperformers, always keeping the winners, i'd be right in green all time... in fact, this is much better than some of my TA-Filters....
... maybe this will be my future strategy for a part of my portfolio.
Test this with offsets of 260 / 130 / 68 days ... so much green :-)

heyen,
Nice! Start with a basket, and hold them as long as they stay on the list. I like it. The only thing I would question is, if a stock crosses above $10, then it will disappear from the list. Would you sell a stock if it crossed above $10?
I think I might take that line out. When you buy a stock, you can always manually weed out the ones that are above $10.

You are right. I wouldnt sell above $10.
Its just that more stocks double from 2 to 4 than from 20 to 40....
Thats at least my belief.

My opinion about the $10 limit is once a stock hits $10. I was going use what TRO calls free shares. For example you sell off only the amount you invested then letting your gains ride and sell only if the stock losses momentum. He had a site some where all you did was put some information and I’ll give your free share amount. I’ll try to find out where it is.
Heyen, you filters looks really good, may have to use one some time. By the why do you use an offset on you filter, see it performance?

maybe we should move to the filters section...?
There are few negative entry points.
The fewer results, the better. Maybe due to market dependant bundeling of investors interest.
30-50% p.a. seems to be realistic when getting a full basket.
