1/10/2008 5:05:28 PM There might be another rally in the offing, although I think it's a stretch to think $SPX will go up as high as 1450. I think the buck will stop short of 1435. I would start shorting in the 1430-1435 area. |

1/11/2008 10:55:24 AM Well, not quite. When Bernanke made his testimony, the market initially rallied only to give it all back. It was the rumor that BofA is acquiring CFC that kicked the market into high gear. Unfortunately, the news surrounding the larger than usual mortgage writedown from both AMEX and Merrill Lynch is knocking this market down. CFC giving back more than half of yesterday's gain, a whopping 50%. So now what? |
