2/20/2021 4:08:08 PM I'm using weekly ma(3) on the weekly charts. Its what 12stocks.com use on their weekly's Upper left hand corner where is says trends . Type in your stock ticker. Like EBON |

2/21/2021 12:49:29 AM I've seen favorable backtests and forwards tests of a Weekly 2 ema / Weekly 5 ema crossover strategy on TQQQ that is as simple as it gets. Works pretty good as long as you have trailing stops in place as triples can move down quickly.... Ed S. |

2/21/2021 2:52:11 AM @ron22 Yes I think there helpful is keeping up with the trend . Like the past week on SPY,IMW,QQQ the daily's have shown weakness while the weekly's or mid-term still show good. The monthly I really don't thinks has much info as the real trends are the weekly moving off the daily. Yes the daily could turn the weekly if weakness continues. Just look at the TQQQ vs the SQQQ which is widely played by traders. When one's up the other's down. @Chesse Yes the over all trend score of 100 means a stock is hitting on all cylinder's @ED Great post on the Weekly 2 ema / Weekly 5 ema crossover strategy. I'm in EBON and NR right now. I got interested in weekly's again some week's ago after a advertisement kept popping up on my Facebook account about using weekly's to make some good grains. He used a different method the weekly ema(10) rather the Stan Weinstein Method approach (weekly 30 ma) which I thought way to lagging. I was searching google and came across the 12stocks.com link again as I've been there before. Now yes I still think the Guppy MMA's are still strong in there own way but I want to simple it down to the best and easy charting I can come up with. To me price action and volume are the only thing that every trader sitting behind any computer screen see's every day. So far weekly's have been good while watching for weekness but a pullback market like we seen last always put pressure on all stocks more less. I got in on EBON on the 2nd week 2-12-21 with a small position off a weekly ma(3) above weekly ma(3) filter I already made and that about the time I came across the 12stocks.com site and it's free rating. I'm not crazy about their paid for stuff. Too expensive for my taste. 
P.S. Yea I know its Robinhood but really does it matter who you use but it works for me and I don't pay for some fancy bell's and whistle's |
