I like to short inherently weak stocks that have momentarily gapped up due to analyst upgrade or other news. I've been locating these manually and it takes way too much time. So I joined StockFetcher.
I guess it makes sense to look for a lower RSI(12) and a major price improvment over the last day or so. The RSI should probably not consider the "day or so" that the stock gapped up.
Does anyone have any suggestions for writing a filter for this?
Thanks!

Chetron:
Thanks for the response.
I gave that a try and added a few rules to filter out the BS, but didn't really find anything. Of course, it's not like stocks meeting these requiements happen every day. I'll watch it for a while to see what happens.
Thanks again!
