I'm a newbie stockfetcher and wanted to check how to scan within a hourly or 30 minute charts for the last 5,10,20 days etc
I'd like to use a MA cross-over in a 1 hr chart over last X no of days.
User guide does not mentioned about hrly charts.
Help much appreciated.

User guide does not mention them for a reason - SF only provides daily and weekly charting.

If you want something of that nature wonder over to stockfinder.com (takes a little skill in programming VB) or Tradeideas.com (for the programming clueless). I can say the first is wonderful but have no history with the latter.

Try using Big Charts for that type of charting. There you can watch a stock in an hourly, or minutes fashion according to 1 , 2,5, or 10 day set up or you can track a stock in a monthly or 2 months or 3 months etc etc on either a daily tracking or weekly, or yearly. It's a nice site to utilze. Go to www.BigCharts.com and sign up as a free member. If they even require you to be one? I have been using their charting services for quite a while now.
