Filters have flipped but need to close this way to make sure. Looks like this is it.
I have a nice position in silver and will short Xiv.

I think this might be a fake out and might be short lived.

This noise will subside in 1 to 4 days as Xiv ultimately climes to 160ish.
Cubs dragging it out. Why don't they just lose already. Going to another game tonight.

While I doubt it will get quite that high (will split long before 160), it was an excellent buy opportunity for XIV this morning. I added another 3,000 shares at $106.00.

Nice trade Kevin,
Will you let us know when you get out of long XIV?

I used to say 130 but now I think 130-160.
Guess what folks. Tvix long came off the list, now it's back up. If it closes on my filter I'm shorting Xiv.
Like I said, may not last long. Maybe Xiv 103 but could go deeper.
DSLV short leading the way. I like that.

Nice trade Kevin,
Will you let us know when you get out of long XIV?
Sure, but I trade XIV based on a set of filters, buying a "unit" each time a filter triggers. Last night I got 5 BUY and 2 SELL signals, so I bought only three units.
Currently have 12 units in play, at various entry prices. I add or sell units so it is not always a typical "close out that trade" sort of process. Often I sell a few units only to buy them back the next day - usually at a higher price but I am trying to follow the system exactly and not try to second guess it.
Also, the filters do not predict dips like what happened this morning - I would have bought the same number of shares if the price were 116 rather than 106.

Sounds complicated.

The system is complicated by SF standards (it is composed of 40 different XIV long filters developed in Stratasearch), but trading it is easy. Signals are generated each night and are bought/sold at the open the next day. I trade 10 units using this approach, and also use a separate neural network filter set as well.
I do not post trades so much any more because the filters I use are not readily translated into SF code, and each filter has separate exit criteria.

My call on XIV is
Sideways movement then a mini-correction
RSI(14) getting over that 80.00 line.
IMHO - its be careful time.
