You can go to indicators and click on moving average envelopes and it explains what they all mean
it's a 10%offset

Yeah, I don't really fall into the how and why category, when you get too caught up into all that you end up in the philosopher zone and you end up teaching instead of doing. I find it's wasted energy. That's just me.
