I've gotten burned a few times from stocks that appeared to have bottomed including ones in a solid uptrend over their 200 day MA. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Many of us use the charting wealth system with TC2000/stock charts. looking at the weekly MA crossover helps. i.e. many times something looks like it bottomed on a 4 hour basis but it defaults back to the weekly. so in short the charts with differing time frames...weekly crossover up will give you more confidence in the trade.
